The University of Hull is a research-engaged university which applies its global expertise to the benefit of the region and its businesses. The University boats a successful Business School and a ground-breaking Medical School, in partnership with the University of York. It has an academic portfolio containing 50 disciplines across the arts and humanities, business, education, health, the sciences and the social sciences. Through its Enterprise Centre, the University has created more than 120 new businesses in four years. It has a proud record of producing high-calibre, work-ready graduates and continually investing in state-of-the-art facilities and resources. In 2013 it undertook a £27million transformation of its Library and created a new Bio-medical Research Centre containing the latest specialist equipment and facilities.
