University of York


The University of York is among the highest ranked higher education institutions in the UK. It is a World Top 100 University (QS World Universities 2011-12), is regularly in the top ten of UK university league tables, and was recently scored top of UK higher education institutions under 50 years old and 8th worldwide (Times Higher Education). The University of York won the prestigious THE University of the Year award in 2010, and entered the Russell Group of elite UK institutions in 2012.

The university aims to attract a number of significant commercial organisations to locate on its Science Park and new green field campus, Heslington East.
