Yorkshire Universities (YU) held a recent workshop to explore priorities for regional analysis of graduate labour markets out of a set of identified areas of interest. To facilitate discussions in the workshop YU collated an overview of existing resources and key consideration for analysis in each of the areas of interest identified through engagement with YU members and partners, particularly colleagues from combined authorities and transition teams in each sub-region working on data, policy and programmes related to skills and employment.

It was recognised that the resources collated could be used as a tool to support further analysis in these areas beyond the direct work of YU, whether by individual members or partners, or those who identify other opportunities to collaborate on a sub-regional or thematic basis.

Yorkshire Universities is sharing the updated collection of resources publicly to support and encourage the development of further insights that can facilitate effective strategy and action to support graduate talent across the region.

We also recognise that many of the resources to support regional analysis of graduate labour markets may be of interest to those working on addressing similar questions in other areas of the UK and welcome opportunities for other regions to build on this work.
